Questions people actually ask
Do FigQR codes expire?
No. Your destination is encoded directly into the code itself, so there is nothing on our side that can lapse. A printed FigQR code keeps working even if FigQR shuts down tomorrow.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no signup, no email, and no free trial that turns into a bill. The generator runs entirely in your browser.
Does FigQR redirect or track scans?
Neither. Many generators point the code at their own server and forward visitors, which is how they track scans — and how they can switch the code off later. FigQR never sits between your code and its destination.
Can I edit the destination after printing?
Not with a static code, and that is the deliberate trade-off. Editable codes require a server to redirect through, which is exactly the dependency that makes other tools stop working when you stop paying.
Is there a scan limit or watermark?
No to both. Scans never touch our servers, so there is nothing to meter, and nothing is stamped onto your code.
